Federal Contracting 101 is designed for companies desiring to enter the federal marketplace and /or new to federal contracting, that have struggled to gain sales. Taught in a hands-on workshop format, all attendees are required to bring a laptop so they can position their companies in real time, in all areas necessary for their success. You will not only learn strategies, but you will also be given the tools to ensure you can go forward after the workshop and have success.
The federal government is consistently challenged to meet their HUBzone spending requirement. With roughly 82 percent of the Island designated as a HUBzone an opportunity exist for those organizations that can provide goods and services to the federal government both on the Island and anywhere throughout the world the government has a need. Oh and let's not forget the 8(a) program that allows for sole source awards.
